A few years ago Lindsay was going through a marriage separation and his mental health was not in a good place. He was living in a caravan and feeling very sorry for himself.
He sensed he needed a deeper purpose. A friend told him to reach out to the Winsome.
“On my first day at the Winsome, everyone was so welcoming to me,” Linday said, “I felt very comfortable, and I felt it would be a great fit for me.”
“Volunteering at the Winsome has helped me become part of a community. It has given me a purpose, and it has given me friends. I have made good friends here, and I continue to make new friends.”
“Now I miss it if I can’t make it. I love volunteering at the Winsome.”
